Argentinean Muslim scholar hailed International Islamic Unity conference calling that as a blessing which has not been performed by any other country.

Abdulkarim Paz, Muslim scholar from Argentina, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), on the sideline of 30^th International Islamic Unity Conference referred to the reasons behind creation of Takfiri (excommunication) groups stressing awakening as the solution to many issues of Muslim world.
 
He called Takfiri groups as a defame for Islam and called them for a debate saying,” If you are true Muslims enter a debate with us, teach us what you know but if you are not people of talking and reasonable discussions then think twice on your beliefs and ideologies.”
 
“You cannot lead a dialogue with some so-called Muslims because they want to kill all. They have parted from the path of prophet Mohammad (PBUH)” said he and added,” A human being and a Muslim should be the last person committing such a crime.”
 
He counted economy, politics and power struggle to be behind creation of Takfiri groups.
 
According to the cleric negotiation is positive thing even if some people or countries violate their commitments to it because then the whole world will witness that.
 
He said, ”We invite Takfiri (excommunication) groups to read a few verses of Qur’an then their reasoning will be in vain because they since they have understood Qur’an they have the right to kill others. Once upon a time it was only prophet who received and understood Qur’an then did the prophet pull out his sword and started to kill people?”
 
Cleric from Argentina praised Sheikh Badr el Din Hassoun for his speech saying,” I am a Sunni because I am a follower of Sunna (lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)) and I am a Shia because I am loyal to the household of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH).”
 
When asked on a way Islamic Unity Conference could contribute to put an end to the issue of Takfir he referred to “endeavor” as the solution and said,” We should all work hard for that and send the message to all” and added,” For instance it should be shown that we, all Shia and Sunni scholars, stood in praying queues behind a Sunni prayer leader and proved them wrong who think the issue in the world of Islam is a sectarian clash between Shia and Sunni.”
 
He also referred to hostile moves against Islam and said,”It is a fact that enemies are scared of showing even few seconds of this conference. Enemies introduce us as a threat for humanity then why are they scared of televising this so-called threat, that (in their idea) massacring the people is propagated in this conference, why don’t the enemies show what they say to be promoted here? When you are braving on annihilation of Iran why don’t you show a part of the allegedly crimes it has committed so that other countries join you for the end?”
 
Abdulkarim Paz extended hopes for improvement of the conference and that fraternity, justice and affection would prevail the world.”
 
In his view if Muslims had awakened, the world would be a paradise and that if they had expanded their knowledge on God Almighty, love for Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and Ahlul Bayt (AS) and there will be no more clashes.”
 
As of the annual event held by the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought he said that the conference should not be held once a year.”
