Activist raps cholera epidemic as direct consequence of Saudi war on Yemen

presstv , 23 Sep 2017 - 12:26

The cholera epidemic in Yemen has been called as the “direct” consequence of US-backed Saudi Arabia’s atrocities on the impoverished Arab nation.

“It is part of the calculated targeting of water, sanitation, sewage by the Saudi bombers that make every effort to target civilian infrastructure." Sara Flounders, the co-director of the International Action Center, told Press TV in an interview on Friday.

She added," So in every sense this is a crime being committed, the whole world sees it… and it is continuing every day and especially from here in the US."

American activist noted," I want to condemn the US role because the naval blockade is a US blockade and the fueling and satellite reconnaissance and actually enabling these jet aircraft to fly is entirely carried out by the United States military,”
