Iran win three gold medals at 2017 world Karate federation

Iranian representatives won three gold medals at the 2017 World Karate Federation Karate 1 Premier League in Dubai, the UAE.


 

Sajjad Ganjzadeh defeated Georgian Gogita Arkania 3-1 in the final match of the Male Kumite +84kg weight category.

In Male Kumite -67kg, Saeid Alipour defeated Greek Xenos Dionysios 1-0 in the final match to win a gold medal.

Fatemeh Chalaki also grabbed a gold medal after defeating Russian Valeria Finashkina in the Female Kumite -55 Kg.
Iran also won three bronze medals in the competition.

Amir Mehdizadeh took a bronze medal in the Male Kumite -60 Kg category after beating Russian Evgeny Plakhutin 4-3.

Abolfazl Shahrjerdi won the bronze medal in Male Kata and Negin Bagheri seized the bronze in Female Kata.
