Syrian forces have launched several operations against terrorists killing and wounding a number of militants in the country’s west-central Province of Hama.
According to Syria’s official SANA news agency on Saturday, the Takfiri terrorists were killed during operations in the province’s strategic al-Nasseriye and al-Mintar hills, which are now in control of Syrian forces.
Ahead of the clashes, Syrian forces targeted the terrorists' positions with heavy rocket fire which destroyed several of their fortified headquarters and killed a high-ranking militant field commander.
Operations were also launched against terrorist supply lines between the towns of al-Latamneh and Kafr Zeta and militant-held town of Helfaya.
During the operations a large amount of terrorist equipment was destroyed and several vehicles were confiscated.
Meanwhile, in the country’s eastern city of Dayr al-Zawr, Syrian forces found and destroyed a network of tunnels used by the Daesh terrorist group during intensive operations against the Takfiri militants.
At least 15 Takfiris were killed when the 150-meter tunnel, which was used for transporting arms and equipment, was destroyed.
