Chairman Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) Maulana Samiul Haq has said that DPC came into the field to liberate Pakistan from the slavery of US.

Addressing the participants at the start of the long march against the resumption of the NATO supply outside the Nasir Bagh at chowk Istambol on Sunday, he said that the movement will remain till the change of the governmental policy and the end of the drone attacks and closing of the NATO supply.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Syed Munawar Hassan and Ameer Jamatud Dawa Hafiz Muhammad Saeed also delivered speeches to the participants of long march; meanwhile Secretary General JI Pakistan Liaquat Baloch, Ameer JI Lahore Ameer-ul-Azeem, Central Leader JuD Ameer Hamza, Leader of Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, former ISI chief Hameed Gul, Allama Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Hafiz Ibtisam Ilahi Zaheer and others were also present on the occasion.

Maulana Samiul Haq said that at the start of the so called war against terror US declared it as slaibi war; he said “we come out in the way of Almighty Allah and we do not return back to home till US and its partners leave Afghanistan and Pak leaders act correctly”.

Syed Munawar Hassan said that long march under the leadership of DPC against the resumption of the NATO supply is just blow of fresh air. He said that US wants to capture our resources by making Muslims of Pakistan and Afghanistan slave, adding that who think that attack at the Salala Check Post is wrong and Drone attacks should be stopped and the NATO supply should remain close they should join DPC as just the statements never solve the problems. He concluded with saying that it is the peaceful long march of the true Muslims against those leaders and their partners who were slaves of US.

Hafiz Muhammad Saeed said that today sky and earth were closer to each other, as Muslims came out in the way of Almighty Allah than God shed clouds on them and the weather become pleasant. He prayed for the strengthening of the DPC coalition, adding that the participants of DPC have come out in the way of Almighty Allah and he will succeed the participants in their goal.

Hafiz Saeed said that the long march will bring the nation back to the ideology on which Pakistan was made. “All the people who believe that (the) US should leave Afghanistan and Pakistan, they should come out of their homes and join us,” he said.

“Our aim is not just withdrawal of US from Afghanistan, but US stooges and slaves in Pakistan should also leave.”
Long march started at 12:01PM when groups moved towards Islamabad under the leadership Maulana Samiul Haq.

The rally will reach Gujrat through G.T. Road to spend night and will leave for Islamabad today.
