“Easter should boost interfaith ties” Lebanese Muslim scholar

Senior Lebanese Muslim scholar congratulated Christians on Easter demanding that the occasion should increase ties among different religions.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Ali Abdul Latif Fadhl Allah, renowned Lebanese cleric, met with a group of Christians in Bint Jbeil, Ramish and Ain Ebel congratulating the community on Easter and expressed hope that such occasions will lead to increase ties between different religions, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” We should boost interfaith dialogue to the level of human dialogue and avoid any extremist thought.”
 
Senior Lebanese scholar also slammed terrorist attack against Shia refugees from the Syrian cities of Fou’a and Kafria which led to killing of 126 women and children.
 
He denounced the violence by terrorist movements and noted,” Terrorists are neither followers of Islam nor a part of human community.”
