Cleric called Islamic Unity Week as a symbol of solidarity among world Muslims and the best opportunity for knowing, strengthening and achieving objectives of the Islamic nation.

Mohammad Saleh Haji Hashem Abad, director of the bureau of jurisprudent in Sunni affairs in Piranshahr, Western Azerbaijan Province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the importance of Muslim unity for the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) hailing the Islamic Unity Week as an opportunity to boost Islamic solidarity.
He referred to holy Qur’an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as commonalities of all Muslims and reason for unity of all Muslims and stressed,” Islamic Unity Week is the opportunity for the Islamic nation to reach their shared Islamic objectives.”
The cleric slammed Takfiri (excommunication) groups for their pursuit of uprooting Islamic beliefs.
“At present some youths are brainwashed by Takfiri groups and are taken in by their vain promises since the younger generation does not have enough familiarity with religious teachings of Islam” said the cleric.
Hashem Abad criticized the inaccurate understandings of Takfiri groups from Islam stressing the need to know the real enemies and avoiding disagreements and highlighted necessity of confrontation with Takfiri thoughts.
He noted that Islamic Awakening is based on Qur’anic teachings and stressed, “Inaccurate understandings of Takfiri groups from Islam has turned into an excuse for massacre of Muslims and with that has come a baseless analysis of religious teachings.”
Iranian cleric, in another part of his interview, referred to the domestic and outside reasons behind dispersion of Muslims and added, “Takfiri movements are brainchildren of world arrogant powers and the US and Zionist regime have created Takfiri groups to prevent Islamic Awakening in the region.”
Director of the bureau of jurisprudent in Sunni affairs stressed the close tie between Shia Sunni ties and Muslim resolution in the world saying,” Should Shia and Sunni arrive a solidarity and cooperation, several of their issues will resolve and they will turn into an influential power in the international arena.”
Iranian cleric warned against Zionist domination over Muslims because of their disagreements while unity stands on top of QUr’anic and Islamic recommendations.
