Joint meeting of Shias and Sunnis held in Scotland

Joint meeting of Shias and Sunnis clerics held in Scotland with Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughts, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki in attendance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The meeting was held at the sideline of the 2nd international peace and unity conference and religious scholars from every corner of the Islamic world, including Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, and other countries gathered in the event.

Clerics in the event urging Muslims to move and stand against the pandemic extremism in the region, stressing the unity and unity related issues as well.

To religious clerics Islamic Ummah should be impregnable, not letting enemies forward their willful aims and fulfill their objectives. Clerics urge Muslims to refrain from any conflict over petty issues which in turn led to dispersion. They condemned measures perpetrated by extremist ruffians and cold-hearted Takfiris.

To them, religious leaders should try to unmask enemies’ real identity hiding behind their gibberish mottoes. They level criticism at western policies injecting narcotic poisonous ideological opium and also fanatical discursive style of extremist groups standing behind dazzling mottoes.

In their lines, the arrogant world does their utmost to fulfill their willful aims in the region by hatching plots, instilling polluting mental delirium among the youths.

In this joint meeting, Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thoughts, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki along with other prominent unity faces partook in the event and gave speech on the importance of unity and rapprochement among people from different religions.
