Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini, representative of Tehran in the Assembly of Experts has issued a message calling for support for the oppressed Muslim community in Myanmar calling the clampdown of Myanmar government against the minority group as one of the most merciless instances in history, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) has reported RASA News as saying.
 
Part of the message by the cleric runs,” The oppressed Muslims in Myanmar have been under the invasion of tyrant rulers and some extremist groups for years” expressing regret for one of the gloomiest moments of the history of concurrent with Islamic Eids of Adha and Ghadir.
 
He slammed the crimes committed against Myanmar Muslims on the sidelines of a silence by so-called claimants of human rights and liberty and said,” We are witness to some of the most merciless incidents in the history of man when to hear only parts of the catastrophe is painstaking and breathtaking for any human.
 
The cleric praised the perseverance of Myanmar Muslims and their loyalty to their religious beliefs under the unbelievable tortures, especially against women and children.
 
Ayatollah Amini stressed necessity of all-out support for Myanmar Muslims and called all Muslim and non-Muslim liberals across the globe to aid the oppressed nation.
