“A Review of Mission and Imamate in view of Holy Qur’an” and “Researches into Theoretical Principles of Religious State” by grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is the latest prints by Ma’aref Publication, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
“A Review of Mission and Imamate in view of Holy Qur’an” is a compilation of articles and speeches by the cleric on mission and imamte in view of Qur’an given in London. The scholar, in this book, has tried to prove the status of mission and imamate in political view of Islam bringing quotes from the holy book of Islam.
 
This book discusses that the objective behind mission of prophets and choosing Imams is to prevail justice through launching a government and this has continued after Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) by the household of prophet (AS).
 
A part of the book “Researches into Theoretical Principles of Religious State” is a compilation of articles by Ayatollah Araki on Islamic state and theoretical principles discussed in his different conferences held in London. Regarding the importance of state in Islam, Ayatollah Araki has tried to discuss principles of state through rational reasoning.
 
Ayatollah Araki, in this book, highlighted state as a necessity for social life and counted that the source for legality and power as two important factors for governments, which, in an Islamic government, are based on God’s determination and popular elections; hence, contrary to other models of governme, in an Islam people play a very active role.
