'Clerics should keep people alert': Ayatollah Araki

“Religious cleric should keep people alert and aware,” said General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought.

 

General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki placed accentuation on the prime importance of vigilance among people in the World of Islam, urging clerics and religious scholars to do their utmost in keeping people aware, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Speaking among religious student in Ayatollah Mojtahedi Seminary, the senior cleric stressed the main scheme enemies have been pursued thus far for high jacking the revolutionary moves and awakening streams whose pioneer was the late Imam Khomeini (RA).

 
Ayatollah Araki underscored for achieving that willful end, enemies made concentrated effort to sever the standing tie between the society and religious clerics, sparing no effort in this regard.
 
General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought went on to add, “in doing so, first off, they made it a practice to suggest the very idea that there is no need for religious clerics.”
 

According to Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, enemies did their utmost to encourage  Muslims have dismissive attitude toward Islamic instructions and guidance offered by religious scholars and thinkers.
 
Elsewhere in his remarks, General Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought urged clerics not to bow out of their responsibilities, calling them to continue shouldering the responsibility of guiding people to the right path.


Along with Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, many a cleric believe that religious scholar should not opt out of all responsibilities they have for guiding people and it is incumbent upon them to stand against the enemies of Islam and Muslims.

They sternly warn of plots hatched by enemies and the arrogant world, calling on Muslim nations to be well aware of willful moves and foil thier common foes' melignant attempts.
