Islamic proximity, first necessary charter of Islamic states
Iranian Sunni Member of Parliament highlighted Islamic proximity as the first charter that should be practically believed by all Islamic states.

Abed Fattahi, Head of the Sunni fraction in Iran’s parliament, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed Islamic unity as a vital need at present referring to the wide plots by enemies to disperse Shia and Sunni communities.
He hailed the majority of Fiq’h commonalities between Shia and Sunni and said,” One per cent disagreement between Shia and Sunni is historical and political and we cannot solve the historical issues dating back to the beginning days of Islam rather we should settle our present issues and prevent enemies to hatch plots amongst us.”
Former representative of Urumiyeh in the Parliament added,” The present diplomacy of the western countries is to spark war between Muslims as you see no Islamic state which is not harassed in a political intrigue and its security is not targeted.”
According to Abed Fattahi, undermining Islamic proximity and revealing ethnic issues is the most important intrigue plotted against Iran; hence, health, security and happiness of the Iranian nation is dependent upon Islamic unity and a priority which should be maintained by all authorities in the country.
Iranian Sunni MP noted,” We should construct our great Islamic Republic of Iran upon the different ethnicities and religions and that does not realize with highlighting ethnical and national differences.”
Head of the Sunni fraction in Parliament added,” Islamic unity and proximity is a strong chain of religious commonalities between Shia and Sunni and that we underline our shared thoughts and interests while marginalizing our disagreements.”
He stressed proximity and solidarity as the only solution when the country is harassed in some social and economic issues.
