Mamusta Abdul Rahman Khodaee, prayer leader of Sanandaj in his weekly Friday sermon called Muslims from different walks of life to pay special attention to Islamic Unity Week messages and highlighted the occasion as an opportunity to prove peace and fraternity of Muslims to world people, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He called Islamic unity as a serious hurdle against hostile intrigues by enemies demanding Muslims to stand vigilant against the key issue.
The cleric hailed inspiration by late Imam Khomeini (RA) to boost pillars of Islamic unity by calling the week concurrent with birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as Islamic Unity Week and said all capacities should be hired to strengthen foundations of Islamic solidarity.
Prayer leader of Sanandaj also praised the occasion of Islamic Unity Week as a chance for Muslims to know other denominations and introducing the lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to the younger generation.
He noted solidarity as the key for victory of Muslims against hostile plots and the Islamic Unity Week as the best opportunity to prove the pacifist and fraternal nature of Muslims to the world.
