First international conference on diplomacy of unity has opened in the Iranian capital of Tehran participated by Muslim scholars and intellectuals from across the globe.

Mohammad Nazemmi Ardakani, social deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in the opening speech of the first international conference on diplomacy of unity and operational strategy for Islamic unity stressed executing the strategies for Islamic unity and turning the unity discourse into a social behavior as the objectives for the meeting, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
In the ceremony held concurrent with the 26th anniversary of foundation of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stressed necessity of proper use of capabilities and high capacities in the world of Islam.
 
He hailed the launch of different global unions from diverse walks of life amid the situation when, according to the Supreme Leader, " The world of Islam is harassed with insecurity and schism."
 
One day international meeting on operating the strategy of Islamic unity is underway in Tehran attended by Muslim luminaries and scholars from Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Lebanon, Tunisia and other Muslim states.
