In his message, the president praised the efforts of Iranian athletes who gained 120 medals in Incheon, South Korea, Games.

Iran finished fourth in the 2014 Asian Para Games, also known as the Second Asian Para Games, with 120 medals, including 37 gold, 52 silver and 31 bronze medals.

China with 317, South Korea with 210 and Japan with 142 medals stood in the first three places in the list respectively, followed by Iran. Uzbekistan ranked fifth, Thailand sixth, Malaysia seventh, Hong Kong eight, Indonesia ninth and Vietnam 10th.

A total of 32 countries managed to win medals in the competitions.

The 2014 Asian Para Games were held in Incheon, South Korea, from October 18-24. The games feature around 5,000 athletes competing across 23 sports.
