Silence of rights bodies brazens Al Kalifa
Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Husseini Bushehri, manager of Iran seminaries, in an interview with RASA News Agency regrets Al Kalifa move to strip prominent Shia cleric of citizenship saying that had international bodies prevented martyrdom of Saudi cleric, Sheikh Nimr, KSA top ally, Bahrain, would not have dared to carry out such measure against Shia figure, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Iranian scholar denounced Al Kalifa striping Bahraini Shiekh Isa Qassim of citizenship calling that an arbitrary move made by support of arrogant powers.

He added,” Long years of support by the US and western countries for Al Kalifa regime has brazened the Arab government to make such aggressive move towards Sheikh Isa Qassim.”

The cleric referred to massive protests across the world of Islam against the aggressive move by Al Kalifa regime and said,” I think the great movement which has engulfed the world of Islam and across the globe will force Al Kalifa to rethink its decision unless the green light by the arrogant powers maintains and Al Kalifa is secured over the firm support of the world powers to send the prominent cleric into exile or impose difficult situation on him.”

Friday prayer leader of Qom referred to the duties of clerics and Muslim world elites against such erroneous decisions made by Al Kalifa regime and noted,” Luckily the outpouring of denunciations from Muslim world clerics maintains while different figures continue their admiration for Sheikh Isa Qassim.”

He said,” International bodies are also taking sporadic measures though had not they ignored similar cases in Saudi Arabia we should have not witness this aggressive move by Bahrain’s Al Kalifa.”

Ayatollah Husseini Bushehri stressed,” If international bodies had intervened or denounced martyrdom of Saudi cleric, Shiekh Nimr, Saudi ally, Al Kalifa, would not have taken such measure today.”
