Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki received the Chairman of the Advisory Council of Indian Muslims, Navid Ahmed, exchanging views over the hows and prime importance of promoting unity among Muslim nations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The grand Ayatollah beckoned to the 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising) recently mounted in Iran Capital city of Tehran stressing, "Islamic Republic of Iran has always taken firm stance regarding Palestinian nation."
Ayatollah Araki went on to note, "Compared to other Islamic countries, Iran's position on the issue of Palestine was much sharper and more transparent."
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought anticipated the oppressed nation of Palestine would gain triumph very soon .
It is noteworthy, the Iranian capital, Tehran, hosted the international forum in support of the Palestinian cause, with hundreds of foreign guests, including senior Palestinian leaders and officials of Muslim nations, in attendance.
The annual event, dubbed the 6th International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada (Uprising), was held with the motto of “Together Supporting Palestine.”
