The religious cleric, Ayatollah Mazaherie highlighted leading role of Imam Hussein (PBUH) in reviving Islam across the globe.

Addressing a religious ceremonry held to mark Ashura mourning ceremonies, the religious cleric, Ayatollah Hussein Mazaheri placed stress on the leading role of Prophet Muhammad’s grandson and 3rd Shia Imam Hussein (PBUH) in reviving divine Islam across the globe, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

"People should make a move to follow the footsteps of Imam Hussein (PBUH) inviting people to good and prevent them from evil," stressed the religious cleric.
 
Holding Imam Hussein as the focal point around whom Muslims can get united, the religious cleric underscored, "Muslims' enemies aim at the standing unity between Shi’a and Sunni, sparing no cost and effort to advancing their willful objective, given that it is incumbent upon Muslims to use all religious occasions to promote their solidarity."
 
 
The religious cleric beckoned to some extremist groups which perpetrated grisly measures under the name of Islam noting these groups are only serving the interests of enemies and the arrogant world.
