'Depicting true image of Islam if of prime importance': top cleric

"Offering religious teachings and depicting the true image of Islam can counteract the anti-Iran propaganda," underscored the Iranian religious jurisprudent.

 
"Offering religious teachings and depicting the true image of Islam can counteract the anti-Iran propaganda in the media providing the way for changing the negative attitude towards the divine religion," underlined religious cleric Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Making his remark in a meeting with organizers of the international conference on "Islam and Human Rights" Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi held the conference as a significant event which of its nature is of vital importance can which bear in the long run many a fruit.
 
The grand Ayatollah reiterated that introducing the genuine Islam is of results reaped by the conference.  

Addressing the event's organizers, Qom seminary instructor underscored “By mounting the international conference, you are indeed serving the cause of Islam, Shi’ism, Shi’ah Seminaries as well as the Islamic establishment.”

Beckoned to the fallout of propagations against Iran and Shi’ism in the foreign media, Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi placed emphasis on the prime importance of offering the true principles and teachings of Islam.
