Senior Shia jurisprudent attended opening ceremony for the new educational year in Iran’s Qom Seminary denouncing corrupt media for targeting beliefs, ideology and Islamic unity of the people.

Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, prominent Iranian jurisprudent, slammed corrupt media for targeting unity and ideologies of the Muslim community demanding the people to stand against their allegations, particularly those by Takfiri (excommunication) terrorists, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to the present situation in the world of Islam and denounced the enemies to spark clashes between Muslims destroying their homes, looting their countries and shedding their blood.
The cleric highlighted necessity of Islamic unity and called creation of solidarity among Muslims as one of the most important missions of the seminary.
The cleric called the present situation an ideal one for the US and said,” Even if Yemen war lasts for 10 years, there will be no problem for the US” adding,” The US has recently sold $ 1’000 billion of weapons; therefore, the longer the war, the more dependant these countries on the US weaponries.”
Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi stressed the key role of Muslim vigilance and awareness of the Muslims against these intrigues saying,” Merely military plans do not suffice to alleviate this fire and seminaries should also make their contribution for boosting solidarity among Muslims.”
“Since the commonalities of Muslims exceed those of their disagreements, Muslims should join their hands in order to put off the fire of division sparked by enemies” noted the seminary professor.
Iranian scholar rebuked Saudi Arabia for including Takfiri courses on school and seminary curriculum teaching the students lessons which permit any atrocity against the life and assets of pilgrims to Mecca.
He also called Saudi Mufti fatwas (religious statement) as the third factor for spread of violence among Daesh terrorist group.
Iranian seminary professor counted Saudi renowned media which call the people to war and bloodshed as the fourth reason for Takfiri terrorists to kill Muslims and added,” Foreign media whose news sources are Takfiri channels play a key role in the crimes committed by terrorist groups.”
