Egypt’s Darul Ifta stresses:

Necessity of boosting counter-terrorism cooperation

Egypt’s Darul Ifta denounced the recent terrorist attack in Kenya warning against expansion of Takfiri-terrorist groups in Africa.
Necessity of boosting counter-terrorism cooperation
The study center on Takfiri fatwa and extremist ideologies at Darul Ifta in Egypt has slammed the recent terrorist attack by Al Shebaab militants in Kenya to launch arson attack on some residential buildings and beheading of civilians, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Darul Ifta stressed,” Terrorist attacks by movements claiming to be Islamic has no relation with the holy religion since Islamic Sharia forbids any massacre, destruction or razing.”

Darul Ifta also stressed necessity of global cooperation to confront terrorist organizations across the world and also deciding on a certain strategy to confront international terrorism as well as uprooting ideological, financial and spiritual supports for the movement.

Suspected Somali Islamist militant group, Al-Shabaab, beheaded three people and torched several houses in the latest overnight attacks in Kenya’s coastal region of Lamu.

Several areas in northeastern Kenya that border Somalia have been the target of Al-Shabaab terrorists who have killed innocent citizens since Kenyan soldiers entered Somalia in 2011 to secure the two countries’ shared border.
