A nation ignorant of unity is incapable of defending its rights
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki attending the conference on solidarity in view of modern Islamic civilization in Tunis stressing that a nation who ignores solidarity among its members is incapable of defending its rights.

Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended the conference on unity and modern Islamic Civilization in the Tunisian capital of Tunis slammed the massacre of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar stressing the necessity of solidarity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Unity and civilization are two factors which convene us all together” and added,” Islamic nation should convene in a unified body in order to solve its issues determinedly.”
The cleric denounced the plight of Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and demanded,” How the world can take silence on the massacre of a Muslim nation?” and added,” If a Muslim does not haste to aid his brother in trouble is not a Muslim.”
 
Ayatollah Araki highlighted freedom as a necessity for human being and added that a nation which ignores solidarity among its members cannot defend its rights.
 
Member of the Assembly of Experts reiterated a unified political system in the whole world of Islam and counted morality, knowledge, technology and discipline are the key factors which will guarantee the victory of any government.
 
Two day international conference on unity in view of modern Islamic civilization was held in Tunis attended by representatives from Tunisia, Algiers, Egypt, Yemen, Morocco, Italy and Islamic Republic of Iran.
 
Factors for renovation of Islamic civilization, reasons behind annihilation and promotion in history of Islam, cultural and scientific constructions in creating Islamic civilization and also Islamic civilization between Muslims and other religions were among the subjects discussed in this meeting.
