Shia-Sunni scholars should challenge ISIL thoughts
Seyyed Hadi Seyyed Afqahi, Iranian political analyst on Western Asia affairs, in a radio interview noted called ISIL thoughts as Middle Eastern original thoughts supported by the US calling Muslim scholars to condemn the deviate ideology, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He said,” To think that the US is the mastermind of ISIL is both correct and incorrect because the core ideas existed even before the Americas were discovered; hence, the ideology is originally from the Middle East, though to think that the US has created the thoughts behind Daesh and Al Qaeda is absurd.”

He added,” This is while the US extracted a political-security project out of the ideological process combining two religious and tribal institutions to make what is called Saudi Arabia; therefore, the US made the best of the created mind to pursue its Greater Middle East project in a proxy war.”

Iranian political analyst noted,” The US supported and fueled a deviate sect without use of any military force followed by the launch of 72 satellite channels to wage war amongst Muslims and it unfortunately succeeded in its efforts.”

” Salafi and ISIL thoughts fully contradict with Islamic spirits, tolerance and forgivness; hence, not only Shia scholars but also Sunni leaders should struggle to challenge ISIL ideology” Seyyed Afqahi stressed warning against the threat of ISIL thoughts plaguing the younger minds.
