Top scholar in Iran’s Qom Seminary highlighted unifying aspect of Hajj pilgrimage as the basis of worshipping stressing vigilance to make the best of the opportunity.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hussein Bonyadi, from the managerial council at the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, in an interview with RASA News Agency called Hajj as a Qur’anic principle stressing the spiritual, political and cultural aspects of the annual event, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Senior professor at Qom Seminary noted that the unity maintained in Hajj is based on Qur’anic teachings and said,” The most important political, cultural and social principles in the Islamic nation are taught during Hajj while the latest news in the world of Islam are transmitted amongst the pilgrims.”
 
The cleric also referred to notification of the Muslim world on the exact situation in the Islamic countries and noted,” One of the key rituals in Hajj is to care the Qur’anic teachings in order to familiarize the Muslim nation with the fact of imamte and jurisprudence in order to rearrange their status in regards to the whole world of Islam.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Bonyadi hailed the monotheistic axis of Hajj philosophy and that different Islamic nations perform the rituals following the same example; therefore, the role model is itself a manifest of unifying strategy of Islam.
 
He added,” At present, Muslim elites can make the best of Hajj to maintain the interests of Muslim world.”
