Senior Iranian jurisprudent warned of hostility and disagreement as threat for Muslim countries stressing necessity of cooperation and unity among all Islamic states.

Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, top Shia cleric, met with a group of Sunni scholars from Georgia warning against spread of Takfirism (excommunication) and highlighted importance of cooperation and solidarity among Muslim scholars from different countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He warned against infiltration of Wahhabism among Muslim community expressing hope that this exemplary unity will prevail since many Muslim countries are burning in the fire of hostilities created due to disagreements.
 
The cleric referred to the fast spread of Islam in the world saying,” If Muslims resolve their minor disagreements, Islam will certainly be the future religion in the world” calling for more meetings between Muslim scholars in order to prevent hostile plots against Muslims.
 
Ayatollah Makarem also referred to the tarnished image of Iran represented by some foreign media and noted more meetings and interaction between Muslim clerics will foil plots against Islamic nation.
 
Professor at Qom Seminary highlighted exchange of experiences and serious attention to the younger generation since the youth have set a proper target for infiltration of enemies.
 
Iranian senior scholar hailed the solidarity of Islamic denominations and also cooperation of Islam and Christianity in Georgia.
