'Congenital relation observed among Shiite and Sunni clerics'

Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought hailed the standing unanimity among Pakistani religious clerics.

 
In an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki beckoned to the standing unanimity among Pakistani religious clerics and thinkers, hailing the meeting of minds on various issues in the country.
 
“What we observed in Pakistan was a congenital and amicable relation between Shia and Sunni clerics,” said the grand Ayatollah noting on account of such concurrence, various programs have been advanced in the country.   
 
Beckoned to his meeting with featured clerics including Serak Al-Haq, Abdol Qafour Heidari, Atta Muhammad Manika and other prominent figures, Ayatollah Araki underlined, “different issues have been discussed and various grounds have been reviewed for arriving at the set objective in the realm of unity.”
 
According to Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Pakistani clerics made a vow to work in tandem with Iran for boosting unity and rapprochement among Muslims nations.
 
“Various potential roadmaps have been studied and discussed for upgrading cooperation among clerics, elites, and Islamic parties,” pointed out Ayatollah Araki stressing such bonds would promote unity and rapprochement in the World of Islam.
 
Ayatollah Araki, as the key speaker, took part in different gatherings including the seminar entitled “Unity of Ummah” and attended by Sunni and Shia clerics, calling for launching a union, which can be later offered in a proposal and turned into a popular demand in Islamic states.
 
In this regard, President of Iran top unity center pointed to this proposal briefing, “to this end, we have demanded all Pakistani elites along with religious and political officials to team up and collaborate.”
 
“All clerics conceded the necessity of forming a union of Islamic countries even it would be at first consist of only four or five states,” underlined the grand Ayatollah stressing the idea should be set on top of Islamic countries’ agenda.
 
In his term, “the proposal has been welcomed in Pakistan, inasmuch as many a problem and setback World of Islam faced with will be solved if this union is formed.” Extended his hope that clerics can fullfill the foresaid objective, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought urged religious thinkers to take effective steps with this connection.
 
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Araki put stress on willful attempt made by western media in widening the gap among Muslims and disintegrating them adding in spite of the enemies’ propaganda, what we have observed in Pakistan was an amicable milieu and genteel relation among Shia and Sunni clerics.”
 
In his trip to Pakistan, President of Iran top unity body also hailed the telling role of religious thinkers and clerics of this country in safeguarding Muslims' solidarity stressing Pakistan and its people can play a profound part in current setbacks World of Islam is going through. 
 
Secretary of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought also voiced his readiness to collaborate with Pakistani religious scholars in finding roadmaps to the standing setbacks and unresolved problems world of Islam is mired in.
