Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Mouchesh highlighted the significance of Palestine in Islam urging Muslims to side with downtrodden nation of Palestine against the regime of Zionism.

Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Mouchesh, Mamousta Eqbal Bahmani in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) placed stress on the significance of Palestine in divine religion of Islam which is evident by the frequent references to it in both the Qur’an and the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

"Al-Quds is of prime importance from Islamic perspective," pointed out  Mamousta Eqbal Bahmani stressing it derives its religious prominence from being the first qibla, the initial direction toward which Prophet Muhammad and the early Muslim community turned their faces in prayers.

Al-Aqsa Mosque also known as Baitul-Maqdis in Palestine was the center of Isra and Miraj of Prophet Muhammad. Given that, Mamousta Eqbal Bahmani beckoned to the coming Al-Quds day urging Muslims to observe the International event in solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian.

The religious cleric beckoned to the hatched plots by enemies of Islam extending his sincere hope that Muslims thought understanding the current situation and vigilance foil the concocted schemes and attend the International Al Quds day.

"The International Al Quds day should be the symbol of unity in the World of Islam and Iranian people are incumbent to partake the event regardless of their political trends," highlighted Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Mouchesh.

According to Mamousta Eqbal Bahmani, Zionists are the worst and most dangerous enemies of Muslims since they are after the monopoly of others through focusing on racial issues following their willful objectives seriously.

"Liberating Palestine is not a dream, and it will happen for certain," concluded Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Mouchesh.

International Quds Day was the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, who is revered as a spiritual leader by Muslims across the world.

The annual event is seen as an opportunity for freedom-seeking people across the world, regardless of faith, to voice their support for the cause of Palestine and vent their anger against the Apartheid regime of Israel, which has occupied Palestinian territories since 1967.

Needless to say, Al-Quds (Jerusalem) has strong evocative and emotional associations for Muslims all over the world. It is considered the third-holiest city in Islam after Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia.
