Iranian clerics from Southern Khorasan Province denounced the clampdown of Rohingya Muslims warning that the killing of Muslims in Myanmar is happening in the shadow of Muslim division.

A group of Iranian scholars from Southern Khorasan Province rebuked the plight of Muslim minority in Myanmar calling Muslim rulers to help the impoverished nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Alireza Ebadi, representative of the Supreme Leader in Southern Khorasan Province, reprimanded the silence of Islamic countries saying that the majority of lawlessness in the world should be blamed on the so-called claimants of human rights.
The cleric referred to infiltration of the US in more than 50 countries counting Ukraine and Yemen as the next two states to be manipulated before Myanmar.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ebadi criticized Islamic countries for their silence over the issue and said,” These countries are claimants of Islam while they take no action on the genocide of Muslims in Myanmar.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Gholam Hussein Nofarsti, deputy of Supreme Leader representative in Southern Khorasan noted that the silence of so-called humanitarian institutions is proof for the depth of infiltration of oppression in these states.”
“Once Islamic states form the true solidarity according to Islamic teachings we will not witness such crimes committed against even one Muslim in the world” the cleric vowed.
The religious figure referred to the issue of Islamophobia spread across the globe by the arrogant powers since the effort will hinder the promotion of Islam in order to guarantee safety of their position in the world.
He referred to the massive oil and gas resources of Myanmar calling that as the reason why the country has been set in the focal attention and worsening of the situation by the US and Zionist regime.
“ If it is not for the US supports, how can the army kill its own nation instead of serving them while Buddhism also bans killing of other religions?” demanded the cleric.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Abbas Ali Khazaee, prayer leader of Nehbandan slammed the massacre of Myanmar Muslims as a catastrophe for the world of Islam and reprimanded the international bodies for giving the plight a cold shoulder.
He said,” In a world with mottos of peace and humanity, claimants of human rights commit any crime to annihilate Muslims to the extent that Nobel Peace Prize is given to the leader of a government boasting to killing of Muslims and ethnic cleansing.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammadreza Babaee, prayer leader of Ferdows stressed that Islamic solidarity will prevent any atrocity against Islamic countries and said,” The present catastrophe in the world of Islam is due to division among Muslims.”
He warned of new plots by global Zionism and the US if Muslims do not join each other and added that the shameful failure of the US in Syria war as another reason for the crimes committed against Muslims in other parts of the world.
Iranian scholar stressed that helping Myanmar nation as a religious responsibility and called seminary students and clerics to struggle for a soft war and sending the message of oppressed nation to the world.
