World of Arrogance after drifting Quds crisis into oblivion

Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Naqadeh, Mamousta Ebrahim Sorkhabi in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed the attempts made by the late founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini (RA) in designating the name of Al-Quds and drawing Muslims' attention to deplorable status of the down-trodden Palestinians.

The religious cleric urged Iranian and world Muslims to stage a more unified presence at the rallies this year noting ,"Muslims should mark the day more gloriously than previous years so as to register the issue of Al-Quds in peoples' mind."

In his line, it is incumbent upon Muslims to stand by oppressed nation of Palestine and not to let enemies turn the issue into forgotten corners of minds.

Israeli regime had tried to make the world forget its aggression against the Palestinians through backchannel efforts and by trying to create conflicts among regional Muslims, given that, to the Sunni thinker, "marking the day is far and away the most important issue should be given consummate attention."

Sunni Friday Prayer Leader of Orumiyeh underscored, "al-Quds day is coincided with recent terrorist measures perpetrated in region, given that the day should be given more attention."

Beckoned to Imam Khomeini's innovations in naming the day, Mamousta Sorkhabi underlined, "since the time to date, Iranian nation have staged rallies on this day so as to voice their support for the oppressed Palestinian nation."

The religious cleric went on to add, "the move shows Iranian nations are truly resolute and not tired of moving on this path; all the same, their resolve and determination will be strengthened day by day."

Iranian nation to attend the rallies to communicate to the world the deplorable status of the down-trodden Palestinians and press the Israeli regime to respect Palestinian rights.
Imam Khomeini named the last Friday of the lunar fasting month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day.

Each year, millions of people around the world stage rallies on this day to voice their support for the Palestinian nation and repeat their call for an end to the Tel Aviv regime’s atrocities and its occupation of the Palestinian territories.
