"Unity is precursor of Islamic greatness, glory': Sunni cleric

"The infrastructure, dignity and prosperity of Islamic civilization is unity, solidarity and sympathy," pointed out the Friday Prayer Leader of Tonkab.

Sunni Friday prayer leader in Oroumiyeh, Mamousta Jalal Moradi in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) placed stress on the necessity of preserving unity and rapproachement noting, "The infrastructure of Islamic dignity, prosperity and civilization is unity, solidarity and sympathy."

"Islamic unity is not a dream;
all the same, it is a firm conviction based on Quranic teachings, hadiths, views of scholars and Islamic thinkers like Supreme Leader in Iran," pointed out the Sunni cleric.

The religious cleric urged Muslims to refrain from dispersion and any move leading to disunity urging Muslims from all sects to abide by the Islamic principles, Quranic Teachigns and commands of religious leaders, thinkers and clerics.

According to Mamousta Jalal Moradi, those who are after dispersion of Muslims nations are indeed against flourishing of Islamic
civilization and greatness of divine Islam.

"Reserving unity and rapprochement is required more than any other time," pointed out the Sunni cleric placing accentuation on the standing commonalities among religious sects and denominations, urging Muslims to close to each other via resorting to the existing joint takes and try their very utmost to team up for persevering the divine religion of Islam; inasmuch as, they are faced with common foes.

Beckoned to the enemies’ willful attempt against Muslims and various plots concocted in a bid to plunge Muslims in a plagued situations and trigger showdown among them, the religious cleric underscored the sole way for countering
enemies is through unity and solidarity.

Mamousta Jalal Moradi consider the differences in jurisprudential issues as mercy and development of divine Islam.

According to Sunni Friday prayer leader in Oroumiyeh, the Islamic unity does not refer to quitting one’s path and merging all religions into one. In his line, Islamic unity refers to rapprochement and solidarity among Muslims unifying them in spite of their religious differences against Islam’s enemies and foes.
