Senior Iranian jurisprudent stressed terrorism as utmost brutality and retardation urging Muslim scholars to unite against the plague.

Grand Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani, renowned Shia jurisprudent, issued a message to international conference against extremism and terrorism in Norway demanding for cooperation of Muslim scholars against terrorism so that the present chaotic situation changes for better reformed atmosphere, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The cleric in his message hailed the participants to the international conference on extremism and terrorism in view of Ahlul Bayt (AS) in Oslo praising the efforts to condemn terror attacks in the world and announcing that the high teachings of Qur’an and Islam have nothing to do with terrorist attacks and criminal groups.
Top cleric in another part of his message said,” Terrorism and suicide attacks, which lead to bloodshed and killing of civilians on a daily basis, are committed by a group of deviate people under the name of Islam, a group which have brought severe damages to the holy religion of Islam including Islamophobia and anti-Islamic moves.”
The cleric slammed terrorism as sign for utmost brutality, ignorance, deviation and retardation of a group of people which have no relations with Islam.
Iranian jurisprudent noted,” This is not a minor loss that the image of blessing Islam is introduced to the world with corruption, mercilessness and violence counting Qur’an as a book which teaches these violent acts.”
Ayatollah Safi said,” When Islam guides the world towards high truths and introduces the great civilization and transcending guidelines, those behind terror attacks are targeting the honor and reputation of all Muslims in the world bringing direct damages to Islam, honor and credit of all Muslims.”
He stressed,” We followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS), denounce extremist moves and terror attacks which have concerned world people, particularly Muslims, threatened with their security, life and property.”
Iranian jurisprudent concluded,” In this big intrigue which has plagued Islam and all Muslims, scholars and religious leaders of Islam should cooperate to foil this threat so that the corrupted situation changes for a better reformed one where the honor of Islam is maintained and all people move towards mutual understanding and religious fraternity.”
Ayatollah Safi Golpaygani urged Muslim scholars to rise against plague of anti-Islamic movements and preventing those behind the crimes in a bid to revive original honor of Islam.
