Accepting additional protocol needs agreement on all issues

Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi reiterated that accepting the Additional Protocol needs agreement on all issues.
Accepting additional protocol needs agreement on all issues

“The condition required for accepting the Additional Protocol is agreement on all issues. There will be no deal as long as there is no agreement on all issues,” CCTV quoted him as saying.

“We cannot consider one aspect and ignore the other one. The Additional Protocol provides an opportunity for inspecting certain sites, but it depends on bilateral agreement. For example, imagine that the IAEA inspectors want to visit a non-nuclear center or facility. We are against the issue.”

“Nuclear centers and facilities are monitored under security agreement. We are talking about non-nuclear centers, the inspectors can have sampling from areas surrounding the non-nuclear center.”

G5+1 agreed to lift sanctions immediately under the nuclear agreement with Iran, he said, adding the IAEA inspectors can visit Iranian non-nuclear centers under certain circumstances in case Iranian parliament approves.
