Speaking in the meeting of “Islamic Unity, Necessities and Roadmaps”, Head of the World Forum for Proximity of the Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohsen Araki underscored the important role religious clerics and scholars play in promoting unity among Muslims, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“Based on the holy book of Quran, refraining from dispersion was one of the main missions of holy prophets,” said the seasoned cleric.

In his line, religious clerics should follow and trace the path of holy prophets, doing their utmost to uphold unity and rapprochement.

To him, on account of some measures done by some clerics and stances taken by them, the standing showdown and dispersion among Muslims is witnessed among Muslim nation in the here and now.

Ayatollah Araki always underscores Muslims should not lose their sense of propriety. To him, a forceful attempt needs to change the present condition in the region.

Ayatollah Araki avoid of having turgid and bombastic explanation, truncated his speech line and concluded that unity is a leading factor in standing against the enemies.

In line with him, to many clerics and analysts, the standing situations are evanescent and all Muslims' fleeting problems can be solved in the near future through unity.

To them, no one has effrontery to threat Muslims and Muslims can surpass their enemies in many realms if they uphold their unity and avoid from torpidity. In this regard, they should not rely on the West’s trite mottoes in defending human right and should try their utmost to reason out their problems through unity and rapprochement.
