Top cleric censures conflicts among Iraqi political parties

Taqrib News Agency: Ayatollah Makarim Sherazi, in one of his statements about Iraq, has said that due to strong religious and cultural ties between the two countries; we are concerned about the conflict between political parties in Iraq while in such a situation when a cruel and irrational enemy has seized some area of the country. Some irresponsible people are raising voices to divide Iraq.

This statement furthers speaks that there is only one way to control the division of Iraq and expelling these barbaric and brutal enemies from Iraq and that suggests all political parties to unite in national interest and pay attention towards their responsibilities regarding this sensitive scenario.

Aytollah Nasir Makarim Sherazi said that we appeal from all the political parties of Iraq that they should sit together and unite for the sake of Allah (swt) and following the teachings of Islam. They should assist each other to save their county from this danger and make it a strong, independent and powerful country.

His eminence further stated that we expect from Iraqi parties that they would consider the opinion of grand leadership in Iraq i.e. Ayatollah Sistani to solve their conflict. They should solve their problems with the help of Ayatollah Sistani before it gets too late. In the end, he said that we pray from Allah (swt) that he grants awareness, vigilance and responsible attitude to everyone. He said that we expect to hear good news about consensus in Iraq very soon, reported Shabestan.
