Hujjat-ul-Islam Hussein Moradi Dolatabadi, manager of cultural affairs at Al Mustafa University, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) underlined Islamic proximity as the healing prescription for the issues in the world of Islam praising Iran for making the best of opportunities to boost solidarity among Muslims.
 
He said,” Qur’an has shown the right path for all people in regards to proximity of different Islamic denominations and the Abrahamic religions as a sacred discourse among the people is a religious and proximity discourse on peace, friendship, affection, interaction which goes against violence and Takfir (excommunication).”
 
” Arrogant powers and capitalists, throughout history, have struggled to infiltrate in unified nations and Muslims have always been a target for them to achieve their objectives” he said and added," Whenever they made it to break into the unified groups, ethnicities and religions, they have brought irretrievable damages which were not healed for decades.”
 
This cultural manager called proximity as a religious discourse and a necessity which is quite essential in regards to the Middle East status quo saying,” You are witness to bloodshed and infanticide across the globe under the name of religion when a group of thugs and ignorant people who receive the funds and plots from other countries to hatch plots.”
 
Iranian cleric stressed,” In view of culture, proximity can be a healing for unity of the nations and a prescription to better mankind.”
 
He added,” If we are highlighting proximity at present it is due to the fact that our Sunni brothers are followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)” stressing,” We do not have any problems with other Islamic denominations and are in full coexistence with them while the enemies are struggling to set a plan to spark conflict between different groups.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Moradi Dolatabadi expressed regret that it is the women and children who are the main victims of division between Muslims and warned,” We are in need of unity both in cultural and political arena” hailing the Supreme Leader as the contender of unity and Islamic solidarity.
 
He called the people to value the opportunity of unity in the Islamic Republic so that Islamic proximity and solidarity expands among all Abrahamic religions.
