Grand Ayatollah Araki warned against sectarianism and civil war among Muslims as a clear plot by the inauspicious triangle of the US, UK and Zionist regime of Israel which has also trapped some ignorant countries in the Middle East region.

Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, in his opening speech at 30th International Islamic Unity Week in Tehran stressed Islamic unity neither a tactic nor a long term strategy but the foundation for identity of Islamic nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He quoted qura’nic verses on necessity of avoiding disunity and noted that calling for solidarity and disavowal of dispersion as the foundation for all religions stressing any phenomenon, words or behavior which sparks or fuels clashes among Muslims is in clear contrast with Islamic teachings and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Ayatollah Araki highlighted calling for unity, struggling to maintain its achievements and also confrontation with any behavior which might lead to clashes, division and disunity of Muslims.
Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought slammed Takfir (excommunication) and expansion of hostility among Muslims as an anti-Islamic issue.
He warned against sectarianism and recent civil war amongst Muslims as a clear proof for intrigue by the inauspicious triangle of the US, UK and Zionist regime of Israel and expressed regret that ignorant rulers of some regional countries have been trapped in it and fueled the fire of division.
“It is not merely the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Iranian authorities who recognize the US, UK and Zionist regime as the masterminds of terrorist and intriguing groups including Al Qaeda, Al Nusra and ISIL” said the cleric and added,” rather some facts on their support for these groups and also confessions of American authorities and other arrogant politicians in the region are clear proofs for the facts on launch, production and support for these groups by the ominous coalition.”
According to the cleric one of the most important objectives of the US, UK and Zionist regime is to fuel the war and sparking sectarian clashes in the region, supporting the illegal regime of Israel and also creating proper opportunities for the aggressive regime to occupy Palestinian lands as well as desecrating Islamic sanctities.
Ayatollah Araki in another part of his speech stressed,” We all know that the issue of Palestine is not merely the problem of Palestinian people and land rather it is an issue for the heart of Muslim world, the problem of Zionists’ colonialism and their greed for dominating the whole region in an attempt to enslaving regional nations and looting their wealth.”
Iranian cleric warned some Arab rulers to stand vigilant against intriguing measures of the US, UK and Zionist regime.
He also called all regional countries to unite against the intrigue and foil the efforts of number one enemies of Islam to hatch plots against Muslim world.
Grand Ayatollah Araki expressed hope for cooperation and unity of all Muslims, an end to domination of the arrogant powers, annihilation of Takfiri movements as well as victory of the resistance and realization of a unified Islamic nation.
