Iran’s achievements angeres enemies: Senior cleric
Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi, the member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom, told Rasa, " the effectiveness of Iran’s Islamic system of government has upset the enemies of the Islamic Revolution and their agents with the country. In order to counter Iran, they have inferred to the people that Iran’s system is ineffective and they shouldn’t adhere to it.”

The deputy of Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute added that the enemies know that the Iranian people love Iran’s Islamic system because of the efficiency of the system and for this reason, they have exaggerated and enlarged small issues and blackened Iran’s reputation in order to weaken the love of the people for the system in an attempt to achieve their goals.

He stated, "the enemies’ schemes and efforts are undoubtedly to separate the people from the system and for this reason, we see that during the negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries over Iran’s nuclear program, the imperialist powers attempted to weaken the authority of the system so that they can increase their aggression and bullying through such actions."

“They say that Iran must surrender and the system cannot do anything,” he added.

Ayatollah Rajabi referred to the many achievements that Iran has achieved, especially in regard to economics, agriculture and in aerospace and military technology since the victory 1979 Islamic Revolution saying, “If we take a fair look, we will see that the military achievements we have achieved in various fields have been unmatched.”

He said, "if the government doesn’t look into Iran’s internal capabilities and doesn’t value the resistance economy, it doesn’t mean the system is weak, however the government has now wasted three years in order to reach a compromise with the United States but it hasn’t been able to solve the problems it faces."

The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom professor said, “We must compare the level and living conditions of the people before and after the Islamic Revolution. The power, services and economic situation of the people must be compared with that period. Perhaps some of our young people do not know the situation of that era and what problems existed.”

Ayatollah Rajabi stressed, "Iran has made many achievements, both within the country and in assistance to other countries, and has made significant economic gains without relying on foreigners and this has outraged the enemies because they know that Iran is heading towards self-sufficiency in various fields and they want Iran to always be in need of them."
