Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said, “Without doubt, the consumption of products from other countries, which causes harm to the Islamic economic system, isn’t permissible.”

In a meeting with a group of seminarian students, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani stated that one of the most important responsibilities of the scholars is to guide and provide insight for the people and added, “The world in which we live is a world of great events and many of these events are against the Islamic Revolution,” Taqrib News Agency (TNA) quoted Rasa as saying.
The revered source of emulation said that in their think-tanks, the enemies have concluded that the only method that can defeat the arrogant powers and the international Zionists is the thought of Islamic Iran which is based on the culture of jihad and martyrdom.
“For this reason, the biggest violators of human rights are those who draw up the plans to violate human rights and their allies who vote to approve such plans,” he said.
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said the old colonial master has introduced Iran as a terrorist and added, “Of course, we all condemn them and alert the world to the human rights violations in Bahrain, Yemen and Palestine where daily, hundreds of innocent and defenseless women and children are killed.”
He added, “The scholars throughout history have been active been in the field of science and have also explained Islamic politics to the people. In modern times, the late Imam Khomeini, as a politician and as an Islamic scholar, was able to have an affect on the modern world.”
The teacher in the Islamic Seminary of Qom said that the current circumstances in Iran are very sensitive and emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity at all levels and added, “Imam Khomeini stated ‘wherever the enemies have influence, there is dissension there’ and also said ‘the key to victory is the unity of the word [Quran]."
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that criticism is considered the natural right of the people but harmful statements, defamation and accusations are inappropriate actions and said, “If anyone wants to question the 38-year record of Iran’s Islamic system due to personal disputes, they have committed a great sin because we cannot compare the advancement and achievements made by Iran after the Islamic Revolution to the situation before the revolution, although we don’t deny any shortcomings that may exist.”
He added, “Today, the economic problems faced by the people, unemployment among the youth and stagnation in society are quite tangible and this economic situation humiliates man in regard of the great and revolutionary Iranian nation.”
Referring to the remarks of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, in his Norouz remarks, His Eminence said, “Respected manufacturers of consumer goods, by manufacturing quality products for the people, you provide domestic products for the people and without doubt, the consumption of products from other countries, which causes harm to the Islamic economic system, isn’t permissible.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that strengthening the Resistance Economy is a way to fight the enemies and added, “Today war with Iran today is an economic war and with effort, the authorities must win this war.”
