With the advent of Muharram, mourning month when Muslims mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the Battle of Karbala back in 680 AD. These passion plays show the life and martyrdom of every companion and family members of the third Shia Imam in the Battle of Karbala.
