Guinness World Records has named funeral ceremony of the late Iranian leader, Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini as the most crowded as the Iranian officials estimate 10,200,000 of the people, one-sixth of the then population in the country attended the ceremony. The crowd lined up the 32 kilometers, 20-mile route to Beheshte Zahra cemetery in southern Tehran on June 11th, 1989.
