Iranian Mawkebs set up in Iraq serve pilgrims from different countries arriving in the holy city of Karbala to mark Arba’een, 40th day after martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS) the third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). He was martyred together with 72 of his family members and companions in the Battle of Karbala fighting the tyrant ruler of his time Yazid ibn Muawiyah back in 680 AD.
