Afghanistan has been experiencing tough winters in recent years. Extreme cold in the capital Kabul have reached -10, in some areas to -30, degrees at nights. Families with 6-8 people should cramp in one room to survive the extreme cold. 157 people have lost their lives in Ghowr, Badakhshan, Paktika and Paktia and more than 75,000 livestock have frozen to death.
