As is the tradition of Shias, Arbaeen pilgrims begin the march through marshlands in Iraq. They head towards the holy city of Karbala where the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is located.
