On the eve of international Quds Day, an Iranian Sunni cleric demanded people to participate in Quds Day rallies calling the day as the day for resistance of Islamic nation against anti-Islamic plots.
Mamusta Maroof Khaledi, Sunni Friday prayer leader of Bijar, in western Province of Kurdistan, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) called international Quds Day as a proper opportunity for Muslims from different denominations to show their solidarity in massive rallies held for the occasion.
He said,” World Muslims stand in the one front in international Quds Day rallies to shout their anger at against arrogant powers and enemies of Islam.”
He hailed the solidarity of Muslims with different views and diverse political tending to show their unity in Quds Day rallies.
“Amid the critical situation in Muslim world, when in every corner of Muslim world, people are killed by arrogant powers, Zionist regime and their puppets.” He said urging Muslim communities across the globe to condemn the crimes in a unified voice.
Mamusta Khaledi hailed Islamic Revolution as the most important factor in awakening all Muslim countries.
He demanded cultural and media figures as well as people from all walks of life to stress the importance stance of Quds Day as the day of solidarity in the world of Islam.
He concluded that the Zionist regime, with its racist views, stands hostile to not only Muslim communities but also all humanity and if world people do not stand against it, we will witness many more intrigues by this illegal regime.
