An Iranian MP warned against intensification of the crisis in Egypt if the clashes continue saying that the only way out of the present situation is acceptance of democracy and people’s vote.

An Iranian MP warned against intensification of the crisis in Egypt if the clashes continue saying that the only way out of the present situation is acceptance of democracy and people’s vote.
Hujjat-ol-Islam Vahid Ahmadi, Member of National Security Committee and Foreign Policy in Iran’s Parliament, in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), called Egypt an important country for many regional countries that changed with the beginning shakes two years ago leading to the national election of new Egyptian president.
He said,” Unfortunately what expected from Muslim Brotherhood, to depend on popular and domestic power of the people, did not realize rather they paved the way for the Americans and even the Zionist regime.” And added,” Islamic movements, in any form, is not favorable for the arrogant powers and the Zionist regime; therefore, with the help of the army and some smaller groups a soft coup happened that left out President elect Mohammad Morsi.”
He stressed that the way out of the present situation in Egypt is that all groups refer to the popular votes.
Iranian MP warned that the more the present situation continues, the worse the situation will become consequently, and the more difficult solutions have to be followed.
The cleric also touched upon the role of Islamic figures for a solution to the current crisis in Egypt and stressed,” The society of Muslim ulima (scholars) is an effective one in Egypt if they keep committed to their duties and do not suffice to some fatwas or recommendations.”
He demanded the society of Muslim scholars in Egypt to lead all Islamic denominations and groups towards one goal, for instance to their commonality, popular votes.
