An Iranian MP denounced the chemical attack in Syria saying that the move aimed at receiving the permission for military attack from the United Nations (UN).
Seyyed Hussein Naqavi Husseini, Speaker of the National Security and Foreign Policy at Iran’s Parliament in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on Syria chemical attack on Damascus and said the UN is supposed to send a team of experts to investigate the invasion to find the agents and their aims behind the crime.
He said, “The UN has to try the users of chemical weapons and take practical measures against them because the Security Council (UNSC) is responsible for security in the world and it has to fulfill its mission in regards to humanity.”
He stressed,” Besides the evidences provided by Russia, evidences at the site indicate that the insurgents have used chemical weapons to accuse Syrian government and they mean to receive the permission for military intervention from the UN.”
When asked on the influence of the chemical attack on Geneva II conference, Iranian MP said,” Certainly those who support political solution for Syria crisis will not be bare handed since they can prove supporting the insurgents leads to nothing but intensification of the situation in Syria.”
