To many a religious analyst, the role played by Sunni and Shia scholars is second to none, along with their lines, Secretary of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee underlined, “Shia and Sunni scholars play a telling role in making unity and rapprochement.”
Secretary of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Mohammad Hasan Asafari in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) underscored “Religious clerics can play a decisive role in the realm of unity and rapprochement among Muslim nations.”
The analyst beckoned to the standing unremitting milieu in Iraq and mentioned that the enemies of this country especially the U.S and the regime of Zionism exploit from this plagued situation in Iraq so as to accomplish their willful aims.
“In my book, the most far and away effective solution for bringing peace to the country is uplifting unity and proximity among Muslims from different religious denominations and sects,” underscored Asafari.
In another line of his speech, the political face beckoned to the upcoming election to be held in Iraq and mentioned Takfiri and extremist groups cannot intervene the election process.
Secretary of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee went on to say, “inasmuch as the government of Nouri Al Maleki stands powerfully against Takfiri groups.”
The political analyst voiced hope that security will be backed to Iraq by the cooperation and collaboration of different political parties, officials and authorities especially in the Parliament.
“The aim Takfiri and western groups are after is turning the country to another Syria, “ said Mohammad Hasan Asafari stating that it seemed unlikely that such malignant aim would be fulfilled since Iraq experienced well from previous lessons.
“It is proven beyond a shadow of doubt that the standing unity and solidarity among Iraqi officials and strengthening tie between the Government and Parliament will increase peace and security in this country,” said Mohammad Hasan Asafari.
He pointed to the decisive role of religious clerics, urging them to make a move so as to scale up solidarity and rapprochement in Iraq.
