Omani professor stresses:

“Science, means to bring Muslim scholars united”

Top scientific figure from Oman attended the third Mostafa prize in Tehran stressing science as the means to unite Muslims from across the globe.


Dr Salim Hamoud Al-Harthy, professor of Physics and Nanotechnology at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) hailed Iran for holding the prestigious Mostafa prize calling that a means to bring Muslims closer.

Dean of postgraduate and Research at Sultan Qaboos University, professor Harthy said,” There are many ways to bring Muslims from across the globe united and what Mostafa Prize is doing is actually one way to gather Muslim scientists in an Islamic united gathering.”
 
He reiterated scientific and technological achievements as strategy to contribute to a better image of Islam and Muslims to world people.
 
“Mostafa Prize is also the means to bring the people in collaboration in different aspects” said the Omani top scholar on the sideline of the third prestigious science and technology award.
 
The Mustafa Prize is a biennial science and technology award granted to the remarkable researchers and scientists of the Islamic World in four categories, namely “Life and Medical Science and Technology”, “Nanoscience and Nanotechnology”, “Information and Communication Science and Technology”, and “All areas of science and technology”.
