An Iranian Sunni cleric has called the October 7 operation al-Aqsa Flood launched against the occupied territories the heaviest loss in history of Israeli regime.
Maulavi Abdul Rahim Rigianpour, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) praised the ongoing developments in the occupied lands as promising for the world of Islam.
He referred to the October 7 al-Aqsa Flood operation and also constant vows by late Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Leader Ayatollah Khamenei regarding annihilation of the Israeli regime.
The prayer leader of Khalid ibn Walid Mosque in Iran’s Mirjaveh County, Sistan and Baluchistan province, also referred to decades of Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands and oppression of the people in any possible way.
The senior cleric called on Muslims to unite in support of the people in the besieged territories and urged the Muslim states to stand by the oppressed Palestinian nation in their confrontation with the Zionists.
He noted,” Israeli regime suffered its biggest loss and Muslims should note that the regime is on the verge of total collapse”
Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, launched an unprecedented attack against the Israeli-occupied lands on October 7. The Israeli regime in response waged fierce fighting against the Palestinians across the besieged Gaza killing more than 18,400 people, most of them children and women.
