A senior Lebanese cleric said double standards are actually governing the world today as the unfolding catastrophe in Gaza is due to rampant injustice.
Sayyed Ali Fadl Allah, speaking to Astan News on the sideline of the 5th International Imam Reza Congress in the Iranian city of Mashhad, said,” Today’s world is bereft of justice and is governed by double standards, that is, justice is observed in one place, but is not somewhere else. What’s unfolding in Gaza indicates lack of justice.”
A member of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought also hailed the high character and openness of the eighth Shia Imam to dialogue with followers of other religions same way that the followers of various faiths are now among pilgrims to Imam Reza shrine.”
The Fifth International Imam Reza Congress was held on May 14-15, shedding new light on world justice from Imam Reza’s perspective.
Hundreds of Muslim and non-Muslim leaders from across the globe attended the two-day international event organized by the Scientific and Cultural Organization of the shrine.
